Expressive Impressions, Inc. began in 1998 as an outlet for Kim St. Jean's
creativity. She would scour the area to find shabby chic clothing, vintage
Asian artifacts, estate jewelry, and antiques. She would creatively market
these items at various shows around the East Coast. Gradually Kim began
using the vintage beads from the estate jewelry to create unique one of
a kind pieces of jewelry. Shortly thereafter the passion to bead was born
and the rest was left behind. In 2001 husband Norm joined the business after
a lengthy career in Textile management, taking over the day to day duties
affording Kim time to be creative.
Expressive Impressions is now a nearly 4,000 square foot full service bead
store offering Swarovski Crystal Components, Beadalon tools and findings,
semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls, and findings of all types in sterling
silver, gold filled, copper, brass, and pewter. We have 600 square feet
of dedicated classroom space and offer classes from basic bead stringing
through PMC, and lamp-working, including all disciplines in between. A list
